It’s Already Within You
Before I dive into telling you more about the course, I want to tell you a story of one of my clients Curtiss.
Curtiss came to me in the summer of 2020 with a single-minded mission, a plan A and no Plan B determination, to become a better rapper.
Curtiss told me “For my entire life I have listened to my favorite rappers produce great songs, freestyle on any beat, and have a flow that you love listening to” he continued “But when I try and write my own songs and rap like them, I freeze up, the songs sound terrible, and the flow just isn't there.
My goal isn't to be a famous rapper, I just want to be the best I can personally become to rap and write music I love, and can potentially share with my friends and family”
I hear this so often with my clients, we hear the music of those we listen to, but when it comes to doing it ourselves, it’s not the same.
However deep inside you know you have the ability and capability to rap and write freestyles just as well, you are just missing those key tips and lessons that will take you to the next level.
Let’s continue the story…
After talking to Curtiss, learning more about his problems and goals, we devised a comprehensive 5 part plan to take him exactly where he was to where he wanted to go.
This list included:
- Understanding and mastering Freestyle Rap
- Learning our 5 step rap writing technique
- How to effectively use Punchlines and wordplay
- Developing rap speed and controlling your flow
- Improving the tone of his rap voice
To become great at anything takes consistency, and now that we had our plan to improve his rapping, the training has begun.
After 3 short hours of practicing and training one on one, putting the plan into action, the progress and growth Curtiss experienced was far greater than the months of trials he had been used to experiencing.
A couple of weeks had gone by since our first session, my phone started to ring a late Thursday night, and guess who it was?
Over the phone, Curtiss told me “You would not believe how far I have come in the last 2 weeks just by following the plan we laid out.”
Now if you remember from the beginning, Curtiss’s goal has always been to Freestyle and write raps that he loves, and can confidently share with his friends and family.
Curtiss went on to say “As my freestyling continued to improve, I decided to write my a song I can share, after a couple of hours the words and flow came together perfectly and I wrote a masterpiece.
My family loved it, my friends got down to it, and I took the next step and posted it online for my followers to listen to. At first, the views came in slowly, however after 24 hours I had a couple of thousand streams, and the feedback was tremendous.”
Following our 5 step plan, Curtiss was on his way to becoming the rapper he has always dreamed of, and then some. This same 5 step plan is now available to you.
Your Rapping Goals Are Possible
